Why are you doing it?There are a vast number of reasons.(There are a vast number of rituals.)I cannot give them all to you.
They are within your heart.
I sometimes do things just for the sake of "experimentation".
Sometimes out of need.Times of Love.
Times for seeking justice.Aid/Guidance/Knowledge
"Reason and Purpose" are very close and have a great determination of power.
Whatever your reason, I'm sure it is the right one.
The bare minimum of "knowledge" as result.
With the maximum being your request fulfilled. immediately.
Side Note:Commonly the "ritual of purpose" is well studied and
practiced.But then we all have to start somewhere and beginnings can be
confusing.
(I would often close a circle just to have an uninterrupted tarot reading, or even just to experiment with the the different outcomes of the readings.)
But I find that once the circle has been completed and you are well practiced in silencing yourself.
That "communications" will come fairly quickly and easily.
Whatever it is that you seek,you should ask for.
(It doesn't hurt to listen for the answer(s.)
You should keep a full journal of "communications".
You should not try to take in too much at one time.
(I have found myself writing for hours on a "communication" that lasted only seconds. (in real time))Take your time, practice, LISTEN, request/command and your purpose will be fulfilled.
