Christ Bugs
by Lance Reynard

It was late winter of 89' and I was taking some time off of work.

I had been doing regular daily rituals and practicing working with the 'direction of light'.

It was between 8am and 10am and a sunny crisp cool day.

I was doing a thorough cleaning of the three bedroom house that Lisa (my girlfreind) and I lived in.

I noticed a lot of dust build up on the window sills. Behind the lace curtains that were pulled back at the centers.

So , planning to vacuum soon I began dusting the window sills off, with a small feather duster.

I noticed there were quite a few lady bugs beneath and mixed in to the piles that I began to swish unto the carpet

I stopped for a moment and looked at three of the dead bugs on a top edge sill.
I then swept them into my left hand, dust and all.

As I did this the legs of one of them broke off.
So I picked that one out of my hand and tossed it into a nearby little trash container next to a couch.

Ahhh.....the sudden urge to experiment.
Since I had been "charging my batteries" lately.

So, I decided with the other two that I would "blow some life" into them.
Still having cobwebs and dust on them and still as brittle as their crispy freind that I just tossed into the trash.

Mustering all the 'powers of light', I had just been working with earlier that morning.
I inhaled and 'blew' (actually very close to them and with my mouth very wide open and a hot soft breath) and directed the force and source of 'that' light into the little bugs bodies.

Once again I found it impossible to believe what was happening in front of my eyes.

As I recall..one of the tiny sets of legs began moving and twisting the cobwebs that were strune around them.

The other one, still, lie lifeless and I expected that it was just a fluke that one of them was 'hibernating' and the other was long dead.

Yet I still carefully placed the dead one onto the window sill and helped the recovering one back onto it's feet.

As I was reveling in the amazement of the moment and watching the lady bug crawl across my arm I looked up to see the one upon the window sill crawling across it.

To this day, this story seems impossible to me.

But I know that it happened.
Because I was there.
