Q. Why should I memorize all this?
You really don't have to.
You can just do basic readings and consider things as they are written.
It is not quick nor easy(for most), but most beneficial to pay attention.
Most of the answers to this are on the history page.
To alter your waking conscious.
By the work that you do through your time and effort.
Just starting the work brings about changes all around you.
Much like the sub conscious, the world around you doesn't always seem to show difference.
As your awareness increases you will attain more and more energy.
It is important that you learn to control that energy prior to getting a heavy load.
I will be suggesting different reference books for you learn to harness and control what you are about to receive.
Off the bat "Modern Magick" by Don M. Kraig is an excellent piece.
